Hi. I've already introduced myself on this board as a Meniere's sufferer, but I also have a dad who is a Menerian. He has been suffering for years, but has taken no medications for it as of late for various reasons. Fortunately, we've been very supportive of each other since my probable diagnosis - he had a vertigo spell this weekend and we talked about about our respective attacks and symptoms - we now call the tinnitus "transmissions from Mars." ;D
It must be very hard for him to see his child affected with this too! Humour does help though, doesn't it - sometimes!!
