Help I need venision recipe

    You can put the bacstrap in an electric skillet or crock-pot with some premixed brown gravy or cream of mushroom soup. Cook it for several hours slowly. It will be tender with no gamey taste.

    Beef (or venison) Connecticut supper:

    Brown meat in pan with sliced onions, add 1 cup water or beef broth.
    Simmer til meat is tender. Pour this into a 13 x 9 pan.
    Layer sliced (or cubed) potatoes over meat.

    Mix together:
    1 can cream of mushroom soup (campbells is best)
    1/2 c. of milk
    1 t. salt (or less)
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    Pour this over the meat and potatoes.
    Sprinkle Cheddar Cheese over the top for the last layer.

    Bake at 350 for 1 to 1-1/2 hours.
