I believe someone has mentioned previously regarding the work being done in Dallas using vagus nerve stimulation as a treatment for tinnitus. UT Dallas (and three other sites) are now recruiting for a new clinical study. Please note, a diagnosis of Meniere's will disqualify a person, but this information might be of interest to some on this forum anyway.

why is meniere's patients not qualify for this? it should still help us with the tinnitus, wouldn't it?

because tinnitus is basically a separate beast than meniere's, in terms of physical cause.

I'm assuming that since this is a clinical trial, the researchers want to eliminate as many variables as possible.
