I have similar symptoms and yes, they do vanish for a short period of time. I am enjoying a well deserved break from these headaches and getting ready for the inevitable: "their return".

Sorry for your pain. Unfortunately, I dont have an answer for you, my wife has mm and has had a bad head pain for months now. It never ends for her. We have somehow convinced her regular dr. to give her percocet (which thus far is the ONLY thing that helps at all). Her MM specialist says it isnt MM related and to talk to the regular dr. So, we are at wits end with the same type of problem. I hope you you find a solution, if you do, please share.

I'm don't get Clusters anymore, but my niece, who is a nurse, gets migraines all the time.
She was prescribed Oral Imetrex, and it helps a lot.

    Good luck to you!!

the oral imatrex can take between 2-4 hours to work.
the imatrex shot about 30 sec. and if you need another you can take it in 1 hour and it seems to solve it better and faster for me.
but the shot hurts like hell! I would rather give blood 3 times a year than have one imatrex shot!
also oxygen at around 14 lpm helps for a short time while wating for the imatrex pill to kick in.
hope this helps and finds you coping well

Is it Verapamil that is helping you or the combo?

Jesse: bad attack last night, is that a migraine attack or mm attack?

I remember when when this started for me, my dr said lets stop the migraines and than tackle the mm, 240 mg of verapamil a day and I have maybe had 1 headache in a year as where I used to have them every day.

Don't take it anymore but if the headaches come back I will be back on it quickly. My dr wanted to combine Celexa and verapamil but we just went verapamil and it worked.

This coming from a man whose diet consisted of 6-8 mountain dew a day. Haven't had caffeine in 2 years, I now use Viagra to keep me up-- lol

    viagra lol thats great !

I'm curenty back to my mm symptoms but the other night i had a bad migrain and took imatrex with no help so several hours later i took the vera and it helped woke in night and bad migrain took vera and indo and awoke feeling better than i had all month.

i think i will start taking my vera one a day again and maybe slowly start the indo again.
the mm i think is the caffeine and salt, Ive been slipping a little

My Migraines don't have anything to do with my MM either. I've had the migraines since I was 25. The botox for now is working the best.

I get migraines when I'm in the sun too long, opera when my allergies are kicking in.

Nothing helps but a cool dark place and water, water, water!

I hope everyone is doing well today!
