    Thought for A Spring Day

Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations.
I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and try to follow where they lead.

    -Louisa May Alcott, American novelist

One of the hardest things with Meniere's is how it changes our lives.
There is always that thought is this the day that I go to spin city?
Don't let it get in the way of your dreams, if it knocks you down (been there done that), best we can do is get up and follow where them dreams & aspirations take us.

    Great, great post.

Meniere's can challenge us, it can slow us down and it can bring us times of difficulty. But I know it will never take my dreams from me, and I'll continue to chase them every day.

I'm a Liverpool FC supporter so I have a soft spot for the song You'll Never Walk Alone, but I also take personal inspiration from it as it sums up how I feel about life. Quite frankly, I am very much what one might call a non-believer, but I do have faith in the powers of persistence, aspiration and shared burdens. As the song says, walk on with hope in your heart and you'll never walk alone.

When you walk through a storm hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark.
At the end of a storm is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark.
    Walk on through the wind,
    Walk on through the rain,
Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
    And you'll never walk alone,
    You'll never, ever walk alone.

Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
    And you'll never walk alone,
    You'll never, ever walk alone.
