One twelve ounce can diet cola
    spice cake mix

mix and bake and you've got a great cake and moist with few calories

    can of pumpkin
    pumpkin or spice cake

mix and bake another great low fat and sugar moist treat

I'm hypo=glycemic and boarderline type two diabetic but i hate artificial sweeteners (some are not always good for you) but I try and limit sugar and splena (tm) is not too bad.

I always thought a weight watcher's cake had to be invisible. :D Seriously, you can make a cake from scratch and use pureed fruit instead of part of the shortening. And if it's a 2 egg cake you can cut the recipe in half so you don't have quite as much cake sitting around to tempt you. Whole wheat flour can be substituted about 1/4 of the flour; more than that and the cake is way too heavy and doesn't rise well.

I've never heard of soda being added to a cake. That's a different idea.

My mom uses this recipe formula. Her favorite is diet strawberry soda in a white cake.

I would check the sodium content in the cake mix however.
