What's Cooking Today???

    Pork loin roast in the crock pot. Will fix some potatoes and vegetables to go with it. I know, pretty simple, but I'm a pretty simple guy!

    Today I will cook a version of Joe (Wobbles) Wild rice recipe that he posted...simpler as I don't have some of the things but with the nuts and cranberries! (Of course I'll defrost some of the 15 pound Turkey left over from Christmas. Put it in freezer in portion size baggies so we will be eating that until Valentine's day in one guise or another.................)

    I hope it comes out well, Yvonne.

    Tonight I will have a green pea soup made with Indian spices (onion, garlic, cayenne, turmeric, coriander, cumin, and fenugreek). I will combine this with homemade whole wheat bread and vegetables. No dessert

    nasi goreng with a fried egg on top and satay sauce and spring rolls on the side - I know I know waaaaaay too high in sodium but sometimes you have to be a tad naughty

    Wish I was at Janices....eating Nasi Goreng.......................

    Trader Joe's frozen grilled veg and black bean burrios here as the sodium count is rather low on that one. (And tasty!)
