Hello everyone! My husband has had Meniere's Disease for over 25 years. Just wanted to find other people who are experiencing the same disorder. He had the balance nerve in his left ear cut by surgery, in 1993. For years he was doing so much better. Then 4 years ago, it hit again. Due to the attacks, he had to quit his job and go on long term disability. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this happening after the surgery and so many years. Thanks, Rebecca R.
I've heard the nerve can grow back or maybe it has spread to his other ear. Should get checked so if nerve did grow back it can be cut again.
