I bought a hammock, because I'm tired of laying down staring at the same ceiling and room. Hammock lets me be outdoors and to look up at big leafy trees, clouds and sky. And very high jets leaving Ontario airport, with their white lines trailing. Throw in a few chirp chirps from the birds and it beats the hell out of a shadowy room.

Gonna post only pleasant mood music for a while. Sometime I'll post my mellow YouTube playlist of such music for MM folk who need to lay down a lot. Zone out in a hammock type stuff. Feel free to contribute.

This is a remix of a little known Black Sabbath song.

Great song, Pupper. Both the remix & the original.

I like that Metaform song Nathan. Never heard of them. Good uplifting feeling in that tune, and the vocal treatment is cool. The overall sound reminds me of a band called St. Etienne.

La Femme d'Argent, Talisman, & Ce Matin La by Air are excellent too. Moon Safari in it's totality is a superb, feel good, down beat album. Though, from my perspective, falls short of the 'zone out' description.

Massive Attack's Mezzanine may fall more so into the Zone Out category. Black Milk, for example.

    Come To Me by Bjork.

If alternative, neo-psychedelia, & folk is more so your bag, perhaps consider Mazzy Star, or anything Hope Sandoval. Though Hope's music reliably hinges on melancholy undertones, rather than feel good, pleasant undertones. Despite this, it remains pleasant to my ears *chuckles

Cowboy Junkies, too. Both Mazzy Star & the Cowboy Junkies have been described as heroin rock here in AU, hence whether this genre is considered "feel good" really is subject to the listener. You may be yea, you may be nay.

Air also have a remix of Planet Caravan that you might like.

    Nathan,

Seems we're on the same wavelength. I like many of the bans you mentioned, and have great memories about them. Especially Mazy Star. One of my first gf's and mine's song is "Fade in To You" by Mazy. And "Blue Light". My grammar sucks tonight. I'm watched the video I posted by St. Atienne and it made me nervous. too fast. It was a sped up version of Neil Young's "Only Love" so here is the real thing. Much better for "hammock" listening. I love "Air". Bought Moon Safari when it came out. Nice to have you here Nathan. I still listen to that band you turned me on to who sings "Sister Awake". cant recall their name.

I've fallen head over heels in love with the music genre synthwave, retrowave, futuresynth, & Outrun.

On paper, I wouldn't have predicted that I would come to find this genre appealing as a 38 year old, yet here I am, adoring it.

Everything about this genre is amazing to me, from the music itself to the art & colours, the music videos, & the related subcultures that are found scattered throughout the internet.
