Hello. This is my first time to post. I discovered this forum a week ago and very pleased I did. This forum gave me hope.
I have not been formally diagnosed yet with MM but my Neurologist think I may have it due to previous history of vertigo.
My name is Inday and I just want to let you know that I am here and feel the agony that you feel. I also feel very very happy for those people who have found the treatment that works for them.

    In summary:
    - I have been dizzy since Aug 20, 2019
    - was discharged from a hospital after treatment of Afib.
    - came home and I continued to be dizzy. I thought my dizziness was due to new pills I was given to take for Afib.
    - new pills eliminated one by one and to date I continue to be dizzy with brain fog, blurry vision ,
Dull headaches, weakness of legs , anxiousness , loss of appetite , etc.
    - I ve seen my PCP, E/P cardiologist, cardiologist, neurologists and consulted with a functional chiropractic neurologist.
    - my pvp is most helpful
    - my neurologist thinks I have. Meniere's symptoms even though I don't have vertigo, vomiting or nausea nor do I have tinnitus. I did lose partial hearing on my left ear last year.
    - my neurologist referred me for VRT therapy and had an epley maneuver done 2 weeks ago at different times and I didn't respond on both. The last time I had vertigo in 2013, it took them 4 mons. From the vertigo onset before I finally had a positive result from the Epley. The crystal were finally placed back in the lateral and horizontal canals and I was given a "bbq" treatment for yhe horizontal canal. Had vrt for 3 months.
    - am not sure yet what I have but I have been feeling dizzy every day and no meds yet help.
    - I am taking anxiety med to calm me down and help me sleep.
    - have an appt to see ENT in Jan.2021.! Don't know if I can wait that long!
    - for the meantime I am tempted to go back and see this functional chiropractic neurologist who confidently told me he could help me! There's only 500 certified functional chiropractic neurologists in the USA and he is one of them
I have seen the testimonials of the patients he had treated, one with vertigo and the other with vestibular neuritis. He is the first specialist who seemed to care about what I am going thru.
    - He does not accept Medicare or any insurance. He only accepts cash upfront. It consist of 12 weeks treatment.
    - He soundslike dr. Ted Carrick, also a FCN. I saw him on YouTube and he has the same approach
    as he does.
    - I may have to contact this FNC as I don't know how long I can put up with waiting to see the other specialists.
    - my pcp wants to refer me to UCLA and that will take 6 weeks!
    - for the meantime I will try Benny hill's B5 & B 6
Still waiting for my B 5 to arrive from amazon. also waiting for lysine, & lemon flavanoid to arrive.
    - in conclusion, I don"t know if I have meniere's or something else. I need to fo something with dizziness brain fog, blurry vision and occasional headache. I don't have vertigo or positional vertigo. Just constantly dizzy. Once in a while I feel okay. I can drive once in a while and ho bbn out with my hibby. Most of the time I am just home.
    - need some comments from the group if you think I should see this functional chiropractic neurologist of wait until I see an ENT and follow-up visit w/ neurologist or just go for UCLA consult
. Thank you and sorry for the lengthy story.
    - I will be 75 yo on nov 1, 2019.
    Thx for listening.
    Inday

Thx for reading my post. I meant to put this on Strictly Health forum not in Your lovely kitchen. How do I transfer this to Strictly health?

    Hi Inday
Welcome! Even if you don’t have Menieres, hopefully you find some help here.
I just skimmed your history. Have you looked at any information on BPPV? That might fit your symptoms.

    Hi Inday,

I’m not sure if you can transfer this post. One of the administrators may have to chime in and handle this.

Thx for your response. Yes. I am familiar with BPPV. A Dr. In physical therapy did an epley maneuver on me on different times and it did not work on me. My neurologist thinks I have meniere's. For the meantime I continue to be dizzy 24/7 and I am only taking something for anxiety. The dizziness and brain fog drive me crazy. I am sort of housebound because of this.
I just rec'd my Vit.b5. I will try the b5/b6 combo while waiting to see an ENT. Hope it works.

Inday is it only one ear affected? Do you have any fullness in that ear, and is your hearing loss in the lower ranges? Are you currently trying a low sodium diet?

It’s been a long time since you wrote. You are young and I’m older but newer to the awful infliction. I have severe vertigo, nausea, headache for about 12 hours a day 2-3 x’s a week for about 12 hours. I suffer (mostly awake). I’m losing more weight than I should. This has been going on almost 2 1/2 months.
I found the JOH regime and take it when I’m not I’ll. im being referred to a vestibular physical therapist, cardio, hemo, ent, neuro. I pray (a lot) and hope I can get relief and get my life back. :)
