Plitidepsin has potent preclinical efficacy against SARS-CoV-2 by targeting the host protein eEF1A | Science

This week the results of a trial testing this antiviral with covid came out and it has turned out to be 100 more powerful than current drugs such as redmevisir.

Suppose Meniere has a viral cause of herpes or a different virus. Could this drug be a better solution? It is impossible to know because nobody will make a clear study, until several months ago nobody knew if it was effective against covid because a study had not been done either. Its current medical use is for cancer patients since it works by detecting infected or diseased cells and canceling their ability to reproduce, which makes it much more effective than other antivirals that focus on attacking the virus, but do not prevent infected cells from replicating the virus.

I do not know its side effects and not even if it is possible to achieve it. It is just information that I share because I have found it very interesting, if someone is being treated by an ENT who prescribes AV for Meniere they can ask him, perhaps Dr Gaceck is interested in searching literature on this and trying.
