Where ever I park my RV
That's what northern Minnesota will do for you! I have even been out all day ice fishing in -10 degree weather (way back when I was younger). Much nicer being a snowbird!

I have to agree Mr. Tom! Fishing from the beach is so much nicer than fishing through a hole in the ice during the winter months. Love my snowbird life.

It's 20 degrees right now. We had an ice storm yesterday, followed by three inches of snow. Fun times.

Speaking of ice storms & gross, there are likely hundreds of teens & young adults in your area, Cheryl, uploading videos of themselves eating the icicles that form on their roof.

    It's a current Tiktok & Youtube trend. It's nasty.

Oh my gosh, Nathan. I'm going to have to fess up. Although it makes me nauseous, now, just thinking about it, I and my friends all used to do that when we were kids. Yuck! Among other things, can you imagine how much bird poop I've eaten?:eek::eek:

redwing, I hate the ice storms. I don't mind that it keeps me in the house and off the roadways, but usually the ice is so heavy it snaps power lines and tree branches. That didn't happen this time, as the ice was less than a quarter inch thick. It was still plenty slick, though, and we've gone through a lot of ice melting salt this winter.

*Laughs… If it's of any consolation, when riding long distances through the Australian country side on my BMX as a preteen, I would drink out of puddles if I couldn't find fresh drinking water or afford to buy a drink from solitary milk-bars.

Drinking out of puddles is probably worse than eating icicles. And while acknowledging the tu quoque fallacy, I still can't help but realise that I'm sitting here, pointing my finger at those chomping on icicles *rolls eyes

…Look at it this way, at least we can't identify with the public toilet seat licking Tiktok & YouTube trend that occurred during the first 2 - 3 months of the Covid pandemic.

I would link the videos myself, though my internet connection is cutting in & out, so YouTube search "public+toilet+licking" & note the number of videos available.

Or worse yet, YouTube search "Ava+Louise+Dr+Phil+licking+toilet" & listen to the sound of your blood as it boils.

Today it has been the last cold day , at least for now. Tomorrow’s temperature will be 55 and comparing it to today’s 32 I can (hopefully) say that spring is on its way ;)

After two weeks of -30C, -40, etc. we are having a balmy -18°C today with forecast for zero on Friday. I’ll believe it when I see it but we survived. Yay!

It was only in the 30's today. Woke up to a snow covered ground and it snowed on and off all day. Spring is supposed to return later in the week.
