I came out of the gym this morning and there was a little old lady sitting on her walker. I am guessing she was late 80's. I smiled at her and she smiled back and said "I am taking a rest before I continue the walk downtown." I told her that she was smart to rest because it was a very humid morning. She agreed. She was so sweet and I thought so determined to get her daily walk in as well as being smart to know when to rest. I smiled and said have a nice day, she said "you too." It was a warm, wonderful exchange.
