My doc said to consume no more than 1500 mg per day. I am trying, but it's difficult since there is so much salt in packaged and canned food. I know I can just cook fresh food without adding the salt, but I've had difficulty in finding bottled salad dressing and condiments that are no salt added or low salt. Does anyone here know where I can find them? Thanks.

I am not sure about salad dressing specifically but trader joe's and penzeys spices have good low sodium collections of spices etc.

I found when i was doing low sodium that if i counted mg of sodium, i could sometimes splurge on a piece of bacon for breakfast or cheese for lunch. The goal i was told was to keep it even through out the day.
