Actually it was yesterday, not today. I hadn't seen them in a month even though my daughter and her family live just a couple of miles away.

I babysat my the oldest one from the time he was born until he was 3 (he is now 7 yrs. old) and babysat the youngest (who is 2 yrs. old) part-time.

I first began having Meniere's attacks only about once a year, but recently started having weekly attacks, so I told my daughter I was afraid to babysit the grandkids now. I felt it was unsafe for them, especially the 2 yr. old. They were busy this summer and so I didn't see them for awhile, but my daughter called and wanted to come over with the kids. Instead of preparing a huge meal like I used to do, my husband got Kentucky Fried Chicken (I didn't eat the salty breading on the chicken). The boys played in the yard after lunch and then we all went to the library and a bookstore since we are all love books. We had a wonderful time.

 

Good for you Jackie! I'm always talking about my grand kids! It's the best.

My list off stressors are off the charts, most I need to accept, but sometimes I allow myself a "funk." Yesterday wasn't an allow, just a real good funk, crying day. 2 male friends I have met on line (yes, I admit to a dating site, not now though) these men are just friends. Tom and Ed are the 2 friends I have kept in touch with, but I haven't heard from them in a while. We mostly text.
I don't have ANY close males in my life, as both my brothers ast early and parents and uncles are gone. Males are different friends, and I don't mean any thing physical at all.

Both Tom and Ed texted me yesterday and told me that they were each in love! They sent pics and all. So nice to hear of happy things and I was so happy for them!

Brought me right out of the funk and I am smiling today!
