Had a real stressful day at work yesterday, I mean really stressful, so at the end of the day I noticed that I was having an attack, tinnitus started roaring, pressure in the ear was almost unbearable, but no spinning message to the brain, thanks to the VNS. I was able to stay at work and be productive with just a minor annoyance. Had the VNS 15 years ago, vertigo free since, and not missing it one little bit. Best thing I ever did for my health!
To anyone conptemplating destructive surgeries, it's not a easy decision and isn't right for everyone. I don't regret having my surgeries (first VNS, then Laby). I have been 100% symptom free since the last surgery in 2013. It was the right decision for me.
