Recently (last night) I have been watching Naked and Afraid. When i first heard of it I wondered just how low and sleazy will tv go? Well, one evening it was on when I came into the room( it was filmed at a location I've been to) and i watched the whole episode! Its really better than I first thought. I find myself wondering how i would react to their situations. Being naked is a draw because we think of nudity being sexual but here its more of making them even more vulnerable and of course breaking a taboo. Its not sexy! Its interesting to see how gender roles play out and how the relationship goes over 21 days. I saw one guy refuse to eat a fish because the women had caught it and not him. Many times the women outdo the guys. One time in freezing cold the guy wouldnt spoon due to his wife...lol. Ok so its not The Walking Dead but it entertains me.
I wish somebody would lock me in the basement. Things are in full swing now that school has returned. Back to soccer, Karate, CCD, homework, reading tutors and most of all my Nephew who has a way of making it into my bed every night and putting me on the couch because he kicks me in the back all night and then yells I want cotton candy for breakfast starting at 6:00 am. Life is still good, wouldn't trade it for the world!
I remember those hectic days. I was super mom. No wonder it doesn't take much to tire me out now!! Today I danced. And then I danced some more. And now my waist hurts! But it's a good hurt. So now all I can do is slow dance.
Just returning the favor!! Today I shopped for that little black dress and found it. I hate shopping for myself but it wasn't too bad. Once I started, I couldn't stop!
