Congrats Karen. Best friends are great to have.

If this fullness doesn't resolve soon I guess I'll be looking for a new best friend.

I saw a little baby on a facebook video the other day. The baby was probably 4-5 months old and was deaf. They put a hearing aid in his ear which was scaring him and making him cry. But, in a few seconds you can see his reaction to the moment he realizes he can hear. HIs eyes open wide. He stares straight ahead wondering what is happening, then he breaks into a huge wonderful smile.

I'm smiling for you right now.

My best friend. SERC. I've been M-Free now for 172 days (however, could be in natural remission). I’ve adjusted my regimen from 224mg/day to 96mg/day and my Tinnitus noise remains barely audible. [fingers crossed].

Congrats! Excited for you. Remember that they can do little tweaks to refine the sound once you are using it. Mine was adjusted a few times over the first 6 weeks to maximize the sound.

    Very happy for you.

  12. That's great. Congrats!

I'm not sure what all the congrats are about. Aren't hearing aids ubiquitous amongst those of us that have Menieres?

Also there are a number of people who have vertigo but who do not have hearing loss.

I have 7 kids and we had to save to get these so I am excited its not small thing to not be able to hear people then its amazing to actually hear my 4 yearold and not have to have him look me in the face to understand and hear him.

Not all of us need them, yet.
Not all of us can afford them. With this disease I think every triumph is to be celebrated. People should not be made to feel small about anything that improves their quality of life.
    In my opinion, that's bullying.
But hey, if that's who you are, you have to live with it.

Wonderful! I'm so glad you finally had enough to get them and I'm so happy you will be able to enjoy your children and your life more now.
    That means everything!

Our news must be behind yours because I saw that tonight. Wasn't that amazing! You could see his whole face change. What a difference this will make in his life. His parents sounded like they were sobbing in the background. A very touching video!
