I stayed up 'til the end of the match too BD. I almost went to bed in the 3rd set but I'm so glad I didn't or I would have missed one heck of a comeback by Federer. Strange end to yesterday's match between Caroline Wozniacki and Peng Shuai. I felt so bad for Shuai since that was the first Grand Slam singles semi-final she'd ever made it to. Tough way to have to go out.
Lulu, It sure was a tough way fo it end. She must be devastated. The heat and mental fatigue as well as the physical fatigue must be enormous on those athletes. Last night I watched the Food Network----- Dinners, Dives and Drive In's I really enjoyed it.
Last nigh i watched "Buying Alaska" on discovery channel. About people looking to exit the rat race and move to the last frontier and live their dream. The Scenery of Alaska was absolutely beautiful.
Last day of the US Open today with the Men's Championship match. I'll be suffering from severe tennis withdrawal tomorrow.
Me too Lulu I was so hoping Federer could pull it out, but he lost in the semifinals. I love watching tennis.
Oh man BD the men's semi-finals didn't end at all like I thought they would. You could have knocked me over with a feather when both Federer AND Djokovic lost. I would have bet good money they would have been playing each other in the finals. I was really rooting for Wozniacki yesterday but Serena just outplayed her. I have to give her credit though she sure was gracious about her loss. I admire her for that. Kept a smile on her face during the entire trophy presentation and had nothing but good things to say about Serena. Very classy young lady.
