Yesterday September 1, 2014 was the 15th year anniversary of my VNS. 15 years ago! I was diagnosed in 1984, which means that today I have more time post surgery than I had suffering from the disease. Therefore, I feel that I can official say that I tamed the beast. One of the worries of having the VNS is how long will it last?, Will I go Bilateral? Will my nerve heal itself and start the vertigo attacks again? 15 years vertigo free. Wow I still find it hard to believe. Here's to 15 more!!!!!

ChrisK, your posts have always been a source of inspiration and have helped me through some dark times. I'm so glad you're doing well....even when putting the VNS to the test with all that stress!
