Reference to my post in the old forum http://www.menieres.org/forum/index.php?topic=37915.new;topicseen#new I would like to update and ask the forum, that after taking the l-lysine and lemon bioflavonoids for new weeks I found total cure for my MM, and then I gradually stopped taking it. Few week ago I went for a full body massage, and after that I start feeling MM. Is there anything that can trigger after a full massage (particularity the head massage)
Lysine does not eliminate Meniere's-causing herpes viruses from the body. It just suppresses their activity. Go off the lysine (or prescription antiherpetic drugs), and sooner or later the herpes viruses are likely to resume their pathogenic activities. My regimen (as with other MM treatments) is not a cure. It's a treatment, that while taken provides a high rate of symptomatic relief. I would suggest getting back on the regimen. Read the latest version of the regimen here: http://www.zoominternet.net/~kcshop/JOH.pdf Keep us posted on your progress. --John of Ohio
I too found almost complete relief from cochlear hydrops by using the lemon bios. I only need one a day now. However, I went to the chiropractor and after head and neck manipulation, I noticed increased fluid in my ear. I upped the lemon bios for a few days, and things have settled down again. I won't be doing that again lol.
I also had a lot of relief with lemon bios for about 6 months. I felt almost completely normal, just slight tinnitus. Unfortunately, after I gave birth to my son 4.5 months ago my symptoms came roaring back even though I continue to take the lemon bios. My doctor thinks that postpartum/breastfeeding hormones are giving me a hard time. Hopefully when I stop nursing and my hormones level out then I will start to feel better again. I am trying to stay positive...
RedBird I don't recall, but did you ever look into MAV? hormones are a trigger for it, many of us have both MM and MAV
