    Hi Everyone,

I am new here and my friend recommended this site for me to visit. I am only 20 and am finding I am at the end of my tether. I have had this for two years now and I am miserable every day :(. I am from the UK and would love to meet more people like me.

I'm glad you reached out! We are all like you! You will find many treatments here that have worked for some. I'm in the USA but distance doesn't separate us who know how horrible this disease can be. Spend some time reading and researching and maybe you'll find something that could help.

Welcome to our group. We are all on a mission together. Our mission is to help each other find what works best for each other. What works for some might not work for others. But, a lot of people that post on here have had success in making their lives better by trying things that are suggested on this forum.

I was hoping to find someone that would try just Vitamin C, the sustained Vit. C--- 1,000 mg once in morning and once at night.

I was trying everything recommended on this forum and had some success but I wasn't taking the Vitamin C. Last weekend I added the Vitamin C and within two days my ear cleared and it's been clear for four days now.

I don't know if it is the Vit. C or a combination of Vit. C with the acyclovir and JOH's regime or if it was a change in weather. No, it couldn't be weather. It's still the same.

I know, Vit. C is part of John of Ohio's Regimen but, I wasn't taking it.

Oh, wait, I also added the natural Vit E complex 400 iu once in morning ( which is also a part of JOH's Regimen.

Something happened this past weekend and those are the only two things that I added.

Hi Deannatroy, welcome and you are not alone :) We understand. I would suggest you check out our database and archived database, many of us have success with antivirals, not all but many, also looked into MAV to see if anything sounds familiar to you. There are many treatments discussed on these forums and in our database.
I for one have been vertigo free for one year and 9 months due to being an acyclovir.

I hope you will find a treatment that works for you. Just be patient it does take some time and trial and error.

Hi All, I was diagnosed with MD two weeks ago after a three year struggle with my health. It started with daily migraines and over time the right ear began plugging, painful, ringing, fullness..all the usual except vertigo but constant dizziness or the feeling of being on a sailboat..too long.

Anyways, it has ben really isolating, can't work, most friends don't want to hear about it anymore and don't really get how devastating this is. Stepping out of western, pharmaceutical protocols which added more distress to my body and onto John's Regimen. Products coming in the mail ad about to wander down to the Vitamin Shoppe to pick up vinocetine.

Thanks for there being a place to touch in if only by the screeen and keyboard.
    With Love, Holly
