I know menieres.org has had several board crashes, but what year did it actual become a forum? I remember logging in back in 2003, read one post, and didn't log back in again until 2007. How long have you been a forum member? I logged in 2007, and I then took a break from 2010-2014, and came sporadically came back this year.
I joined in 2002. I've had the same name since then. I think a lot of people change names and identities every so often. Maybe it's their way of "starting clean." Maybe not.
Started in 2007 when i was diagnosed and have been a member ever since. My name was June or June- all along.
I joined in 2009 when I went bilateral. I am Wino from the other site. I had to change names when I had an issue re-registering on the new forum under the old account. I tried a different name (this one) just to see if it would yield a different result, and it did. Then, frankly, I was too lazy to try and change it. I think if I ever got to the point where I was changing my name a bunch to start over again or to pretend to be someone else, I'd have to sit down and start deeply questioning my life decisions I've been fortunate for about a year and a half now when it comes to MM, and I've had so much going on for the last year and half or so that I haven't really participated much. That's a good thing.
Joined .org in June 2010. I was lulu50 at the old forum because there was more than one Lulu there. Now I'm just plain old Lulu here.
I was diagnosed in 1984, before the internet was even around, I used to do my MM research at the library. When the net started to get popular in the 90's I used it to research MM, I'm not sure when I found .org or when I joined but It was in the very early days. I've been Chrisk since I first logged on, I'm a member of many forums like this one, Hockey, Football, Travel, Music, but this is the only one where I still use my real first name.
