    Hi All,

I have integrating almost everything in John's prior Regimen except the Beta Glucan 1,3 which has been omitted from the most recent version that I saw him post recently. Is this now considered not needed or maybe counterproductive?

I also did find the Vertigoiheel and the CC in the prior Regimen available on Amazon with two US distributors and its on its way. Wonder why John said its not available and omitted it as well.

Thanks. Puzzle still missing many pieces!

    Holly,

I deleted the beta-glucans simply because there were no regimen user reports that it accomplished anything useful against Meniere's symptoms. It does support thye immune system, but there is little or no present evidence that it suppresses any of the herpes viruses that cause Meniere's symptoms.

Please post the site selling Vertigoheel (or Cocculus Compositum) in the US. My information indicates that it is no longer being sold in the US. Perhaps your vendors have remnant inventories that they can continue to sell untill they run out.

First thank you John for this Regimen and after only 12 days, I am feeling the positive impact!

Here are the US link that I ordered from:

    http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0006ON5GQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Here is the Amazon link to another US company that I inquired about shipping speed:

    http://smile.amazon.com/Heel-Vertigoheel-50tabl/dp/B00M2RIEDO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1412110271&sr=8-1&keywords=b00m2riedo

Here is the Amazon link to all sellers currently selling it:

    http://smile.amazon.com/s/ref=a9_sc_1?rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Avertigoheel&keywords=vertigoheel&ie=UTF8&qid=1412110087

I also ordered from a non-US company unknowingly and discoverd once the shipping confirmation showed 5-10 weeks for delivery and why I then went and ordered it from the first link.

John, in your experience, does ths medication do anything for non-vertigo symptoms such as tinnitus, fullness, hearing loss and dizziness?

    Thank so much!
    Holly

Vertigoheel and Cocculus Compositum (identical substances, with different names) suppress only dizziness and vertigo (often very effectively). But they have no effects on tinnitus, hydrops (fullness) or hearing loss.

I notice that the first link now states, "Currently unavailable. We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock."

The Vertigoheel in the second link has labelling in an unknown language; somewhere in Eastern Europe, perhaps.

Same, too, for the third link.

Thanks John and things are changing rapidly! Since your post I got an email from the vendor American Sports Nutrition that the CC I ordered changed the product name to Mental Focus and have not yet heard if the product is primarily CC or not. Should know tomorrow. I can only imagine that this stuff works and if the FDA hasn't sanctioned it, it is removed from legal distribution?

Anyways, I think it is worth trying at least the stuff coming from overseas to see if it helps with the dizzy's until the Regimen has a change to stabilize my condition. Just grabbing for whatever might further that intention as soon as possible. As you know, this is miserable stuff to navigate and balance.

    Thanks for all you do!

Note that the FDA simply doesn't "sanction" any over the counter, non-prescription product, such as vitamins, minerals, or supplements --- such as Cocculus Compositum or Vertigoheel. FDA has responsibility only for prescription drugs, not vitamins, minerals, or supplements.

Lysine dosage was upped to 3000 mg/day, in three 1000 mg doses, because a) the earlier 1500 mg dosage wasn't yielding the best herpes virus suppression results, and b) many who combat cold sores and other non-Meniere's herpes virus infections have learned, too, that 1500 mg is not always effective. A daily dosage of 3000 mg yields much better results, whenever a herpes virus is confronted with this safe, inexpensive over the counter amino acid.

I implore users of my regimen to post their results, or email me --- positive or negative. I keep track of all of these notes (now approaching 300), and very clearly better results are being experienced with the 3000 mg dosage.

What do you mean the system won't post it ?

By any chance did you get a message that said someone else was posting while you typed? If so, you have to hit submit a second time.

I added an attachment which is a photo of the label of a product on the Regimen's list but twice it did not post. No indication why this might be so. Easily frustrated these days with these darned diseases :'(

    Hi Vicki,

I downloaded the image of the product label on my desktop and I did write both times quite a detailed message, so what you are suggesting has already been done but failed to post.

I am comparing the Vertigoheel I got from Bulgaria to what is written on the American Sports Nutrition's Mental Focus product (replacing CC) and it looks like quite similar ingredients from what I can interpret reading the Bulgarian product in a foreign language.

If anybody cares for me to share exactly as it is written on both products, I am willing to do that.

: It is important to consume enough lysine to stop or slow herpes virus replication. It appears that for herpes zoster (shingles) and herpes simplex (cold sores, et al.) infections, up to 3000 mgs of lysine must be taken each day for control. A similar dosage would be advised for Meniere’s cases. Therefore, until Meniere’s symptoms significantly subside, take two 500 mg capsules three times a day, without food. Take at least 20 minutes before eating. If taken with food, lysine is not effective against herpes viruses. Two 500 mg capsules taken immediately upon arising, at least 20 min. before breakfast is a good daily start. Then, in mid-afternoon, at least 2 hr after lunch, take another pair of 500 mg capsules. Finally, just before retiring, at least 2 hr after supper, take a final pair of capsules. Therapeutic results usually don’t appear quickly. It can take up to four, five, or even six months before the virus becomes suppressed and symptoms begin to subside. Be diligent and patient. When Meniere’s symptoms enduringly subside for several months, take 1000 mg maintenance dose each day for several weeks or several months. Finally, take a single 500 mg capsule as an enduring maintenance dose. At the first sign of returning symptoms, go immediately to 3000 mg again.
