Filling up gas to drive back to Atlanta. I am going to lock myself in my office when I get home and scream or I may just go out to dinner by myself and relax watching the game. Anybody up for a quiet dinner. The kids, wife and SIL have taken 10 years off my life this weekend.
Sitting here wondering why I watched, " the Walking Dead." I'll tell you all a secret I don't tell many. After watching, "The Night Of The Living Dead," at a drive in, ( remember those?) I stayed up for days watching out my window. When I wasn't watching, I was planning my escape. I could never watch it again. I had terrible nightmares. Seems I'm not completely over that phobia, lol. We're hoping that more exposure will cure me of it. Nice having adult kids and hubs laughing at me every time I jumped or squeaked.
When my first husband and I were dating, we went to the drive-in and saw "The Night of the Living Dead". It was frightening. I had nightmares for days. One night I picked him up from his job at a retirement home where he was a cook. I was parked outside the front door. I didn't see it, but they had a table set up with cups of apple juice for the residents. All I saw was all of a sudden all these old people got up and started walking very slowly toward the front door. It looked too much like the Night of the Living Dead and I freaked out. I almost left, but my husband came out and when I told him he thought that was a riot!
Getting ready to start again! I'm looking forward to watching episodes from season two of the Walking Dead tonight. Thanx honey!
Just got home from being out on the farm. It feels good to kick my boots off and just stretch my legs out.
After feeding the tutor, praying he can help her ace this take home test. Made meat loaf, the house smells nice. I'm wondering if I should get to the primary tomorrow. I have a sore throat and my ears are bugging me.,this after finding out the grands had Strep after being here for the weekend. Maybe this is a part of the autoimmune part of this disease.
