I've heard from another MM sufferer that the LBF"s are hard to find. I had no problem but now see it is best to order a very large supply rather than on an as needed basis Learning learning learning with a little help from my new friends here….
I have an Earth Fare store here and it carries Nature’s Life Lemon Bioflavonoid. It has Rutin and Hesperidin, but not erioticin. The Lindburg brand which is out of stock says it just has Rutin and Hesperidin. I'm not finding any with eriocitrin
This product has lots of lemon bioflavonoids, and may substitute for the Nutrition Express product (but that's not for certain): http://www.swansonvitamins.com/nutricology-allergy-research-quercetin-bioflavonoids-100-veg-caps?SourceCode=INTL401&CA_6C15C=597930253 --John of Ohio
I purchased Lipo-Flavonoid Plus at Walmart's. It's an Extra Strength Proprietary Blend with Eriodyctal Glycoside; 1500 mgs of high potency lemon bioflavonoid complex. Walgreen's also carries it.
But the Lipo-Flavonoid products, unfortunately, have not been as effective, according to a number of reports from those who have tried both those products and the Nutrition Express lemon bioflavonoid product. Those who have tried both almost universally report the Nutrition Express product to be more helpful. --John of Ohio
Now that the Nutrition Express is out of stock on Lemon Bioflavonoids and does not list eriocitrin on their website ad, and other MM'ers are not finding the recommended product, what does someone suggest as to how to proceed in following the JOH regimen?
I just called Nutrition Express and the nice woman told me they expect the product in on Oct 24. I plan to call that day to see and if there is an update. She also told me that it might be best not to backorder because they usually limit the number of backorders going out each day and fulfill current orders first. I plan on ordering 2 or 3 or more bottles myself. JOH suggests an alternative in the sring here below, provides a link but makes no promises about its efficacy. Hope that helps!
Holly, I wonder why Nutrition Express does not list eriocitrin on their website ad. Does the lemon bioflavonoid no longer contain that component?
Eriocitrin is but one of many bioflavonoids. Nutrition Express sells the lemon bioflavonoid product as a general use thing, not specifically for the eriocitrin it contains. But it appears to have the highest level of eriocitrin, even if it is unlabeled on the product. This brand has proven more effective against Meniere's symptoms than any other bioflavonoid product. --John of Ohio
I jusy spoke to Nutrition Express and they now estimate Lingberg Lemon Bioflavinoids should be back in stock Novemeber 7, 2014.
You were right, it was previously showing 7 Nov, now it is 12 Dec. I am looking to order this also. Been taking Nature's Life.
I have been taking Nature's Life. I still have leftover and on Valtrex... waiting for Lindberg's stock to arrive and try if there is a difference.
Here in canada... ordering from the USA... shipping can cost more than the product! So I also may buy in bulk. How’s the shelf life/expiration dates on this?
My Lindberg Lemon Bioflavonoid arrived! Early Christmas! I’m so excited. I gobbled my first one while I was still in the parking lot by the post office ha! It’s 700 mg tablets... so twice a day with food?
