Here's how I feel. He settled out of court with past accusations which makes him look guilty. BUT, this was all so long ago. I'm thinking these women are looking for their five minutes of fame. I'm not saying he didn't do it, but I think the timing is off. What do you think?
I believe he is guilty and I believe these women waited way to long to surface so .....it's all water over the damn
I agree. It's old news. These women should have come forward at the time it happened. I think the statute of limitations is in effect so he can't be prosecuted. Maybe they're just smearing his name but maybe he deserves that as nothing else can be done.
It is horrible...I am sure no one wouldhave believed these women after all it was Bill Cosby...reminds me of another Bill (hint ex president). It takes a lot of guts to go up against men of power.
Some did though. It was settled out of court which leads me to believe he was guilty. It's being reported that he also had a child, not with his wife. And what's up with her? You mean to tell me she had no idea what was going on for all these years? I don't believe that. I know I would know. So if she knew and kept quiet, she's as guilty as he is. As with the other Bill, at least she came forward no matter the consequences to her.
If he did that to my mom, sister, daughter I would have................. Well let's just say Bill Cosby would be graveyard dead! I like to have fun and joke around but believe me when I say loud and clear women put up with too much shit not to be respected. Where there is smoke there is fire especially with so many incidences over the years. Same with that ex-president as Red said! Sometimes power knows no limit but then again either do I if it was one of my loved ones. Instead of announcing my 2016 presidential run, I would be appealing my life without parole sentence for killing that piece of shit!
KP, you are a smart lady because this world is in total shambles and going to hell fast. Every now and then I will ride over to one of my Dunkin Donuts late at night for a large decaf non-fT latte and talk with a few regular cops that drop by on a regular basis and all they can do is shake their heads in disbelief at some of the shit that comes over those radios.
I was apathetic about it until I heard that Lou Ferrigno's wife came forward. Now I just kind of wished one of these women would have some tangible evidence. It's all he said this she said that. Anyone with a recording of any of these events would become an instant millionaire.
That would be something to watch him turn green. I became a believer when Supermodel Angie Dickinson came forward. Like she has anything to gain
My opinion of him as gone down the tubes. So many women wouldn't lie. It sounds like he is a serial rapist. Its too bad, he is a good actor. It sounds like too good an actor.
actually some of the women did report him back when it happened, there are even records of it being reported, but because of who he was, they kept it hush hush.
if all these accusations are all true, Cosby has some serious mental issues, normal people don't do stuff like this.
There's no denying many rapists suffer from one type of psychopathy or another, however a serial rapist may well be sane & lucid, with a cognitively sound & "healthy" mind. All a mind really requires to perform a non-consensual sexual act is an overly inflated sense of entitlement, to follow or be indoctrinated into a misogynistic culture or ideology - as seen in many religious teachings & followed by billions throughout human history - or a highly dominant personality, for instance. By no means am I advocating apologetics. I think all rapists, including Bill and countless numbers of celebrities & athletes, should be charged accordingly without any form of special privilege or exception, however I think it's necessary for people to understand the mechanics behind rape & assault, as many victims are taken by surprise by very sane & socially respected people.
Not sure what's worse, the fact that one of America's greatest living icons turned out to be a psycho (I mean come on, Fat Albert, The Cosby Show, decades of media) or the startling influx of sex offenders and drug dealers from Mexico being given amnesty.
