Hi. Okay so it sounds kooky, doesn't it? Electromagnetic hypersensitivity. Did someone order a tin foil hat for me? Thank you so much. I actually prefer copper foil for my kooky hat since copper grounds better than tin.

Really though, I can't help but wonder if EMF may have a contributing trigger effect on MD and other inner ear pathophysiologies. Granted it sounds crazy but consider the following.

    To wit

An interesting quote from a scientific article
The article itself. Note that while the study authors conclude that 16% of the subjects had detectable hearing loss in the affected ear, this finding was clinically insignificant.

When the weather outside deteriorates, your cellphone will amplify it's final output (called RF or radio frequency radiation) to handshake with the nearest pollable cell tower. I won't go on about this but quickly, a short list for you

[size=10pt]• Do you sleep with your cellphone on the night stand (or other devices that use wi-fi/3G/4G?)
    • Did you know that your cell works harder to talk to cell towers in the rain and snow, and increases it's net RF radiation?
    • Are there other RF sources in your home or work environment that may be possible triggers?
    and finally
    • IS RF even a trigger? I don't really know. But I'm putting on my personal Suspect List regardless. Most of the studies seem to be looking for cancer and DNA damage, not labyrinth and vestibular compromise.

The inner ear is the most sensitive structure in the entire body excepting perhaps the retinas. Of interest, the highest voltaic differential anywhere in the body just happens to also be found within the cochlea and labyrinth loops (+150 mV differential, which is amazing given this is all done using simple ions in vivo). I can't help but wonder if RF has something to do with all this, or if it may weaken the cell membrane integrity "just enough" for zombie virii to wake up and start snacking.

What do you think about all this mess?

One person I know with MM for 17 years, says his experience of EMF's does impact his symptoms. Makes total sense to me.

I notice more dizziness on the days when I'm utilizing my phone alot. I've actually made a mental note to myself to put the phone down. Makes total sense to me.

EMFs are so new as a power humans harness. We don't really understand them. I also know people who swear that sleeping by electrical outlets makes them sick.

Do remember, as you play with this theory, that human beings evolved on a planet with a big ass EMF field. It's not new, just harnessed. So don't let yourself get too scared about it.

That being said, maybe I'll start sleeping with a lead hat. (Tin and copper are completely useless against radiation!)
