So I'm currently on week 3 of my antiviral treatment and I've woken up to severe hearing loss in my Hydrops ear. Would you accept this as part of the fluctuating misery that is Hydrops or call the Dr. or do I wait for my 6 month ENT specialist appointment (Monday 22nd)? Steve
Apparently my eardrum is 'dull' which indicates some fluid buildup : when asked if this could result in severe hearing loss the GP said yes, I'm not convinced. I'm off to see a consultant in a few hours so should get a more reliable answer then.
