had a horrible toothache all weekend, this morning my dentist saw me first thing and he said my wisdom tooth needed to come out and he set up an appt with the oral surgeon for right then and there and had it removed today about an hour later.

over the weekend when I would take Tylenol for the pain, which I rarely take, but within minutes of taking it my MM ear rings like crazy really high pitched.

I just took one now since the nova Caine wore off and same thing happened, my ear is ringing like crazy. I never noticed this before.

Does anyone get this when they take Tylenol?

I've never had that issue since I only take Aleve.

When I had Oral Surgery they gave me OxyContin. That helped and no ear issues. I only used it for 3 days. Threw the rest out.

It's really nice finding people we can relate to.

    :)

Yes it is Bea ..very nice! :) I had pain from the area where they gave me the needles when it wore off, I get a lot of needles because I cant use epinephrine so they give me carbocaine w/o epi.

So far so good and the bleeding finally stopped. I have no ear issues from the extraction just ringing from the Tylenol, but I never noticed that before. I know ears can right from aspirins but mine never does.

Advil really works for me with dental stuff. Even with my implants it's all i took and i didnt suffer. I think the fact that it reduces swelling is the key.

Good luck to anyone having dental procedures. I dont get numb, so its always quite an ordeal. Never had ringing from tylenol, sorry to hear that.
