It sure does smell fishy. It's amazing what people will do for their 15 minutes of fame. You watch, soon she will be a contestant on Survivor or something.

LOL ..the bad news is 16 Members of Doctors Without Borders Infected with Ebola, Nine Dead
I sure hope she doesn't come down with it, given she is going out and about during the time of possible incubation

117 people being "monitored" in NYC for Ebola.

    That's right, 117!

That's probably the people Duncan, Spencer, that 5 year old boy, etc etc came in contact with.

That's was interesting but has nothing to do with Ebola.

I think every precaution should be taken to prevent the spread of any potentially deadly disease.

That's why it bothers me so much that the Dr. Lied initially about his movements. It wasn't until they checked his metro card, etc. that he came clean. He did expose a lot of people. That's why so many are being monitored.

And this nurse with the big mouth doesn't care about anybody but herself. She's defiant and absolutely resnts the fact that she was quarantined and will not observe self quarantine measures.

These people know how many have died and they don't care.

Judge rejects Ebola quarantine for nurse

    this person said it best:
"So, a Judge who went to law school has decided that she is not potentially infectious. Dr. Bruce Beutler is the winner of the Nobel Prize for Medicine and Physiology in 2011 for his work researching the cellular immune system that defends bodies from infections like Ebola. He is currently the Director of the Center for the Genetics of Host Defense at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. This is what the Nobel Prize winning Dr. Beutler says: ==== “It may not be absolutely true that those without symptoms can’t transmit the disease, because we don’t have the numbers to back that up. It could be people develop significant viremia [where viruses enter the bloodstream and gain access to the rest of the body], and become able to transmit the disease before they have a fever, even. People may have said that without symptoms you can’t transmit Ebola. I’m not sure about that being 100 percent true. There’s a lot of variation with viruses.”

Even without Nobel Prize level discussions, it is simple common sense that an individual can become symptomatic at ANY TIME in between "monitoring" in the morning and returning home in the afternoon. What parent out there has NEVER gotten a phone call from school saying that their child is sick at school? Did they send their child to school in the morning with symptoms? No. When they left the house in the morning, the child felt fine. Now, at school, the child is vomiting. The Judge is not counting on "Science" to keep Maine safe. He is counting on LUCK. "

Well hell, the Ebola czar did not even go to medical school. I don't think he has even spoken a word. Don't fool yourself, like everything else this is now a political issue just the way they want it.

    Here's my question:

Do we really need an, "Ebola Czar?"

What has he done with that nice salary I sure he's getting!

we don't.. I think the reason he was given that position was to get the spotlight off of Tom Frieden since he kept screwing up with his information and advice and making contradictory statements

Funny how we were hearing about Ebola everyday and now nothing. Feeling like something funny is going on.

That's usually how it is with hot topics, they run out of steam with the press, plus the midterm elections have taken over as the big story now. I am sure if someone else contracts ebola in the USA we will hear about it.

But did anyone see the SNL opening spoofing Megyn Kelly interviewing hickox (the defiant nurse who fought against the quarantine, it was pretty funny. The first part is an interview with "Christie"
