It's really not stress that makes anything worse but how we perceive and respond to stressors. There is a good kind of stress called eustress i.e. our positive response to stressors, which doesn't wreak havoc on our system. It's when we let ourselves be distressed by circumstances that things begin to fall apart. Even when you think you don't have a choice, you really do have a choice in how you respond to anything.
My Dr told me even good stress can make symptoms worse.such as parties, preparing for holiday celebrations, anticipating a loved ones milestones, etc. It's not a win win either way.
That's true. It really does depend on how we react to triggers. I mean, it's our reaction to anything external or internal that can exacerbate symptoms. Not easy, I know, but we do have control even when we feel we don't.
such a factor in my menieres and i hate it so bad i get so sick played in my old coaches memorial golf tournament last weekend and was so dizzy at tee time i could hardly make it makes me feel weak; can't stand it
Thanks for your answers. I'm erring on the do-anything-that-might-help side, and have quit a stressful job (still have another part-time that is less stressful).
