I'm on my third day of taking a Lindberg lemon bioflavenoid tablet after dinner. All three times about an hour afterwards my ear started feeling very clear for the rest of the evening. It's wonderful. Do others have this kind of result? I realize this could be a coincidence, but it sure is nice.
Lemon bioflavonoids make a huge difference for me. When I started taking them the first time I noticed improvement within 2 days. I couldn't get by without them.
Most users of the Lindberg product don't get such rapid results. Be welcome when it happens. But it is still helpful over longer periods. Just too bad the professional ENTs are unaware of this, and that so few Meniere's people know about it. More info on my regimen, which recommends the product, here: http://www.zoominternet.net/~kcshop/JOH.pdf --John of Ohio
I also started Lindberg lemon bioflavenoids three days ago and this morning my left ear is much clearer. I can hear my fingers rubbing. Left ear has been so deaf the last couple of months. So much so, that at night I just put an ear plug in my right ear for silent sleeping. My wife gets up at 5 a.m. and I don't have to get up until 7:30. And sometimes she snores. But, this morning my right ear was plugged and I'm hearing our dog scratching and then I hear the heater come on. I'm thinking my plug must have fallen out. But,it didn't and I was hearing with my left ear.
I also got a new batch of vinpocetine, sustained vitamin C and pycnogenol, which I added three days ago. I have been thinking the valacyclovir was enough, because it gave me two weeks of clear hearing. But, for the last two months I have only been taking valacyclovir, lysine, vit d3, msm and vit. b12 and a multi-vitamin. So---Now: for the last three days I am taking valacyclovir, lysine, lemon bioflavinoids, vinpocetine, vit D3, MSM, multi-vitamin, vit E, the real pycnogenol ( not just the vitacost's pine bark ) and vit b12
Well,......................I had one good day. I'm back to almost deaf again. Very full today. However the tinnitus is not screaming, it's still there though.
Are lemon bioflavonoids curative or do they work like an aspirin, that is while they are in the body? Either is good. Just wondering which way because i am going to suggest them to someone who has tinnitus but not from mm.
I have not had any luck with the lemon bioflavonoids or with many others I have tried over the past year but started taking garlic and noticed a immediate decrease in tinnitus in my right ear. I have never had fluctuations in my hearing when it left in my right ear it has stayed gone. The constant tinnitus does fluctuate during the day and also depending on the noise level of course.
I bought Nature's Life Lemon Bioflavonoids 1000 mg. It has the same active ingredients, but slight different other ingredients. Any feedback on this particular brand?
I've had reports that this brand is not as effective as the Nutrition Express (Lindberg) brand. But it may work if one takes an increased dosage. (Info here: http://www.zoominternet.net/~kcshop/JOH.pdf ) --John of Ohio
The one I bought is 1000 mg and the Lindberg is 700 mg. Is there an active ingredient that sets it apart?
The functional differences between the two products are unknown from only the ingredients. No one has been able to explain how or why the Lindberg product works better; just that it does. --John of Ohio
