I'm post menopausal & have a lot of bladder problems because of lack of estrogen. Things became so bad I used 1 drop of estriol gel vaginally for 3 days. I am just beginning to see some improvement & this a.m. woke up with feeling of fullness in ears (I'm bilateral) & one ears sounds like a wind tunnel in it.

Is it possible for this small amount of hormone could cause this? I have done nothing different other than use estriol.

Anyone else had this problem? I am very sensitive to ERT because of migraines & seizures so I have always avoided it. I would appreciate your comments. Thanks.

I am post menopausal as well but I wont use any HRT. But I do know hormones are triggers for MM and MAV.

Thanks Vicki, So far everything else I've tried has caused me the same problem. Hope you don't have to deal with this.

HRT isn't too safe so I avoid them.
    I hope you feel better!

I once read that estrogen is such a powerful hormone, that the equivalent of one drop in an Olympic sized pool was enough to influence a person.

I am post menopausal too and have to get up every two hours during the night to go to the bathroom, it drives me crazy and I always feel exhausted which makes my MAV worse. I'm not on any HRT, even though I'd like to be due to other tormenting menopausal symptoms like waves of heat and heat intolerance.

Thanks everyone! I've avoided it for 30 years. Being hormone depleted is miserable. I have friends that have taken it for 30 years & look & feel great. One has had a stroke yet choses to still take HRT but I am afraid of it.
