If you find something that stimulates hair growth please let me know I have a couple of bald spots on my back that I would like to fill in.

    Good Health to you!!

Can I be so bold to ask... what is causing your immune system to fail? Are the anti-virals helping the MM but hurting your immune system? My doctor will hopefully be prescribing some for me soon. But can they cause immune system damage? Or are the things you have described just additional terrible things you have to deal with? As if MM wasn't enough.

I can sympathize from a certain perspective. My daughter was diagnosed with a kidney disease when she was 2. She was on steroids and immune system inhibitors for 2 years. Her kidney disease thankfully is in remission, but we later discovered that she has a number of severe life threatening food allergies and celiac disease. We've had to make significant changes to the way we eat as a family because of her issues. Not that I'm complaining. She's healthy and growing. I would do it all again in a heart beat to give her a fighting chance. It was hard watching her go through all those things.

nope antivirals help the immune system by taking the load off of it caused by the virus. My immune system has been crap since I was a little girl. I developed MM when I was 13 years old and have always gotten sick frequently and for long periods.

Allergies are an immune system disorder, which I have as well among others.

    Hi deadeye,
my MM is totally under control for 2 years not 1 vertigo attack, balance issues are vastly improved and no dizzy spells anymore unless I am getting sick or if seasonal allergies kick my butt. Which in those cases I increase my dose of av and I am good to go. Acyclovir works great for me so far.

I did try val.. about a year ago and had a bad reaction to it.

I am seeing this doctor for my life threatening food allergies, not for MM. But the immune system affect both.

Had another appointment today. It went well, she wants me to have between 5-10 acupuncture sessions before giving me anymore herbs. She wants to raise my tolerance by acupuncture and the herbal cream since my system is so sensitive.
I asked her about the Rogaine and she said okay but start very slow just a tiny amount on one spot on my head in case I get a reaction to it.
Anyone interested in reading a small but informative question and answer by her, you can check this link out. It has info on allergies and how her process cream, acupuncture, digestive tea etc addresses allergies and get the immune system back in shape. There are 100's of articles about Dr Li and her TCM formula but this one explains things really well IMO

Also here are 77 studies she did
    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?term=xiu+min+li

Its interesting how allergies and MM have things in common, digestive issues, immune issues, inflammatory issues, her formulas address them all.
