    Hi Lisa
The first two years I had vertigo three times each year. The tinnitus had started many years before that. The second year, last year, I developed aural fullness and loss of hearing. I started antivirals and JOH's Regimen. I started having vertigo almost every day and my aural fullness would fluctuate, but mostly stayed full. Seven months on the antivirals and supplements I started taking OPC and within 3 days my ear went clear. It has been clear and my hearing has improved
Greatly, now for almost four weeks.

I can't say that it was just adding OPC that made this great improvement or a combo action of all the things I am taking or if it just took that long to put the virus into remission. If you are I terested in reading more about OPC go to the post " beginning of the end"

I'm so sorry you are going through this Lisa. Sucks, doesn't it?

I think most people are going to experience a degree of individuality regarding what their symptoms are, and how quickly they ramped up to what you are talking about.

My tinitus fluctuates often. Many mornings, I wake up and it is really quiet. Often, throughout my day, it gets louder. The hearing loss also comes and goes. I've lost 30-40% that I'll likely never get back, but I've been as bad as 60% loss over the last 4 months. Probably about 40% right now. Fluctuations are, I think, somewhat normal for this disease, especially in the early stages.

Have you started the JOH regimen? So early in the disease, it might do really good things for you. You might even get your hearing back if permanent damage hasn't been done. Can take time to work, but it's really worth a try IMO.

Early on, before my first vertigo attack, my initial symptoms were the constant ear pressure and ringing. The pressure was so constant I was constantly rubbing and pulling on my ear. I was at the doctors numerous times trying to see if it was an infection or something. Even after the vertigo attacks started, for me, the hardest part of this thing to deal with was the constant pressure, ringing and struggling to hear over the ringing.

Hopefully anti virals will work for you and these issues can be a thing of the past for you soon!

Lisa, you mentioned that you've had Meniere's for only two months. Is this when you were diagnosed or when your symptoms started? I'm just curious that within that period of time, what tests and procedures did your doctor order for you?

Hearing fluctuation is part of the MM deal. I definitely have it. The trend was down until I got on anti-virals, and then I got a good bit back, but it still fluctuates.

For nagging dizziness I use sea-bands (http://www.sea-band.com/). They really take the edge off for me.

I was wondering when your hearing fluctuates
Is that when the hearing loss occurs? It's all day
Stuffed like the volume goes down without
Dizziness .i never heard of a sea band I will look into
    That :)
