That is great Vickie that just talking about it helped. I would also.suggest looking at it positively. Look at what you have overcome. Acknowledge how brave you are and how can handle this. In them is case past performance does predict future results.

Thank you imback and Lisa, I appreciate your kind words and advice. I am doing okay today had a rough few minutes this morning but I kept myself busy and tried filling my mind with other things and doing okay.
Oh my goodness! Well I have to start this off with a big hug first ((( Vicki ))) No one should have to deal with so much at one time, you poor dear, and then to have panic attacks on top of it all. I've suffered through numerous panic/anxiety attacks so you have my utmost sympathy and my heart truly goes out to you. I wish I could snap my fingers or click my heels and make them disappear forever for you. Mine were so bad they kept me completely housebound for several months a few years ago. I can tell you a couple of little things I learned from a friend of mine who runs a wellness center that specializes in reflexology, Reiki etc. First, she taught me how to breathe my way through a panic attack. Take a slow breath in through your nose to a count of about five seconds, hold it for about another five seconds and then slowly breathe out through your mouth to a count of five seconds. If you do this a few times you'll find it's very helpful in slowing your breathing and your heart rate and getting the attack under control. I also meditate daily (at least once a day....sometimes more often if needed) and I do Chi Gong which is wonderful for releasing pent up tension which can lead to a panic attack. It's also very relaxing but energizing at the same time. I started out doing 10 minutes a day. Here's the link to the one I did most often when I was first starting out. It's the best ten minutes of my day and it's really great for helping to improve your balance as well which goodness knows we can all use! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7MSHOulBZNs Even a little exercise like walking in place at home or dancing helps keep my panic attacks under control as well. Sending my very best wishes to you and hoping you'll be able to tackle these pesky attacks so you won't have one more hurdle to deal with on a daily basis, Vicki. And sending one more ((( hug ))) for good measure!
aww thank you Lulu! great advice I had a good day since this morning. I am hoping this has passed for now. I seem to feel less frightened and feel more like my old self again. I have another appointment with the allergy doctor I am seeing in Manhattan, this Saturday. I will mention to her my old fears crept back up again about my food allergy and see what she says about it too.
I just got back from the Allergist/Researcher and told her about having some anxiety attacks again when I think I feel an allergic reaction but it really isn't one. She said many people with food allergies battle with this, I told her I am trying to help myself and remind myself I am seeing her to fix this issue. So when she did acupuncture on me this time she not only put the needles where she has been for food allergies but for mood too, she put 4 additional needles, she wanted to put one in my head but it scared me so I said maybe next time, she understood but said it will not hurt and it is also for mood and anxiety. Next appointment she starts me on her famous formula, FAHF-2 I am still using the cream she developed and she feels after 3 months on the cream and 5 acupuncture sessions I am ready for the big guns. She will start me on a junior formula since I am so sensitive to things. She said it is well tolerated by children and those even more sensitive systems than mine. I'm excited!
Vicki I have had acupuncture needles in the head - it is fine. Just need to make sure that she remembers to take them all out. LOL I have had them around my ear and a couple of times top of my head. For me, I didn't feel them any more (or less) than in other areas. What I heard it is all about the skill of the person placing them- if they hurt (anywhere) they just need to remove it and do it again. Glad that you have a plan!
Hi rrmehta and nicgmer thanks for the info it is helpful to know about the needles in the head do not hurt, I will let her do that next time which is on the 18th of April and good to know about inositol. I think I have the courage to try the Rogaine today. I have been putting it off due to my anxiety over getting a reaction from it, but I will put a very small amount on and see how it goes. My bangs are extremely thin now
