   Hi everybody,
   
   I am extremely interested in anti-viral therapy. I can see that many people here got a great relief with it.
   
   I would like to know if you tested for virus antibodies before starting anti-viral. And which antibodies, I guess there are several "candidates".
   It would be interesting to see if there are people without detected antibodies who got relief with anti-viral therapy.

   I started antivirals before I was tested but after months I asked my pcp to prescribe them and she ordered an HSV test for me and it came back positive, but from what I am told a large percentage of the population will test positive for HSV since its airborne.

   I did not get tested prior and have not since. But have gotten relief anti virals.
