Hi everybody. I don't know if I'm truly suffering from Meniere's Disease, but thought I'd give this a shot. I was treated for Throat Cancer in 2012....before I was treated I had ringing in my ears plus intermittent "spells" where I get staggeringly dizzy....that is still part of my life. However about 1 1/2 years out of treatment I started feeling pressure in the ear that caught the most radiation. I still suffer from the "spells"...I have found no pattern in them...and tho they don't happen more than say....every other month....when they do happen, I have to sit or I'll fall. I just wait for it to pass. I'm hoping I might find ideas of supplements, or lifestyle changes or something that will help in getting these spells to eventually end or at least space themselves further apart.

    Hi Phrannie,

I think you need to keep investigating this. Vertigo can be caused by so many different reasons.
You might even have a thyroid condition? Given that you've had throat cancer it makes sense that your thyroid would need to be looked at.
    I'm not a doctor though!

    Good luck to you,

    K

Sorry you are going through all this. You should get tested to rule out other causes.

Also there is information if you google it that radiation can cause hearing loss and vestibular problems such as vertigo dizziness etc.
