Sharon--- sorry I am short on time right now. But, nuts are full of arginine. I think if you type arginine in the search bow at the top you will get several posts.

I got the Heal Your Headache book and we are starting the diet. It doesn't seem too onerous. Normally we do eat a lot of onions, navy beans, lentils, peanut butter, and nuts and had started eating more beans and lentils when the vertigo first started. I read your posts to David and he really, really appreciates your help and humor! Today is day 3 and he rates his aural fullness at a 7. We live on an island that requires a 15 minute ferry ride to get to the mainland. So he isn't going with me to the chiropractor today which is too bad. Other than the diet he isn't interested in any other changes until he sees Dr. Rauch. I don't blame him. We continue the antiviral, OPC, 500mg lysine, diuretic (just so we can tell Dr. Rauch that he is on it!). Fun, fun, fun

Some of the foods you mentioned are definitely Meniere triggers and some are MAV triggers. The lentils are high in arginine as is the peanut butter and onions, and possibly the amount of arginine David is consuming may be preventing the antiviral from doing its job.
Some foods are triggers for both MM and MAV some for just MM some for just MAV.
