Recently I realized that for a few days after a vertigo/imbalance/dizziness I occasionally have a subtle, strange feeling in my ear.
Since I am not a native English speaker, it may be difficult to describe. Let's say that I less hear that actually feel a subtle sensation within my ear. Like a bubble of air being released from somewhere inside the ear.
If this is not my imagination, and other folk also experience this, could this be hydrops draining out?

It is just a single "bubble" a few times during a day or a couple of days

Yes, it's actually one on the symptoms that drove me to look into TMJD and an upper cervical chiro solution. I believe it's tissue: muscles around the jaw in spasam or tightness. Make a V shape with your middle and index finger, gently massage the front and back of your ear. See if that helps.

I get this sensation frequently. It doesn't come after attacks. It seems to happen spontaneously. I always like to think it's a good sign that the inflammation is decreasing, but what do I know?

In my case the sensation is of very low intensity. I cannot say if I hear it or feel it. It may well go unnoticed weren't I so focused on my condition.
