I have 3 kids that call me daddy, ages 5-9 and I can't decide if I should take them to a Dunkin Donuts store where they would just get in the way and every 2 minutes ask if they can have a donut, which is not healthy

    Or

Should I take them to a funeral home and crematory and scare the hell out of them and give them nightmares for weeks.

I told my wife who is in Philadelphia and her typical response as usual was "your an asshole, take those kids to school"

    But

I do have a point it is take your kids to work day today.

This is the only day of the year I always wished my mom was a stripper growing up.

She called the school today from Philadelphia Children's Hospital to make sure the kids were there and not absent.

Oh well, maybe next year we can participate in National bring your kids to work day.

By the way how did you decide on your profession? Did someone take you to work with them when you were 7?

Hey red, I sure am missing that beach.

My story about chosen profession is as follows
I spent almost 11 years working for Goldman Sach's in NY in the investment banking field and had zero kids just my wife(girlfriend) at the time.

At he age of 35 I got mm and knew I could no longer continue in that environment, so I knew I had to do something. I had a client which was 3 guys who bought the franchise/territorial rights for Dunkin Donuts across several states and were looking for capital, At the time they also owned funeral homes, crematories and cemeteries but were looking to expand to the southeast.

My wife wanted kids and she/we already had 6 miscarriages so we decided to adopt an move to Atlanta so I decided to buy 25% of the partnership.

As for someone taking me to work at 7, Never happened. I was basically raised by a single mother and my older brother. Both worked in factories/warehouses in Baltimore. But they taught me to love the O's.
