allergies trigger Meniere's. Why were you taken off of antihistamines? Did he offer an alternative?

I am too philosopher, it wasn't directed at you, I am not sure why you think it was since its donnisue's thread.

Did you know vitamin C acts in the same way and has the same mechanism of action that antihistamines do?

Maybe that is why Ray and some others has/have found relief with high dose vit C because his initial insult to his endolymphatic sac was allergy related.

If you go down this route I recommend a triple ply very soft toilet paper.

I dont know why she took me off them but after 2 days of fog n dizzy I went back on them anyway. Its just ptc clariton d, but it sure seems to help.

On a another subject, is it bad to not have enough salt? After going over my diet when I cook, my intake is normally 2000 to 2300. Now I can cut it back to like 1300 to 1500 is that ok?

My doctor pretty much said I think you hae menieres disease read this pamphlet continue taking flonase, get off antihystimines, reduce salt intake to 2 grams n make an appt in 4 to 5 months, if that doesnt work we can add a diuretic then, afer that it could be surgery. Starting to think its time for a different doctor.

I was told not to use Claritin D while I was taking valium. I think it has Sudafed in it or something. I could take just regular Claritin but not the ‘D’. I prefer Zyrtec to Claritin so that’s what I take.
