However, that isn’t the case with Aisha Dannupawa, a Nigerian mother of three who left her new husband of just one week because his shlong was just too big. According to the New York Post, Dannupawa married Ali Maizinari following the dissolution of her first marriage, but concluded that this marriage wouldn’t work out either because of Maizinari’s penis size. The new couple lives in the state of Zamfara, which operates under Islamic law and prohibits premarital sex. This explains why Dannupawa was unaware of what Maizinari was working with until after the wedding. Per their tradition, Dannupawa moved in the home of Maizinari’s parents before settling into her husband’s home. It was there where the couple consummated their marriage and where all of the problems began. “When he came, we had sex but the experience was a nightmare. Instead of enjoying the sex, it turned out to be something else because his penis was too big,” she told the courts, according to the Nigerian Tribune. Dannupawa says that after the first encounter, she took medication for the pain. “I told my mother the experience but she told me to endure and that with time, I will be able to cope. She then gave me some drugs,” said Dannupawa. They tried again, but the bride says that the pain was “too much to bear.” Together, they concluded that medication couldn’t help their situation. Maizinari isn’t fighting the divorce. He says that he’s willing to dissolve the union if his dowry and the money spent during their courtship is refunded.
