Hands go very numb during an attack

    Hello everyone
    I was wondering today I had a dizzy attack with vommitting
    Right before the vomitting started for about
    40 minutes my hands were completely numb
    With a vibrating sensation is this common
    I have mm for 3 months never experienced
    This or heard of it anybody ever had this?

    It has happened to me.
    Also, hands and feet got very cold.

    Thank u tha makes sense I took a Valium
    As the symptoms got
    Strong maybe I should have taken it sooner
    Does Valium usually help vertigo? So happy
    There are people from this site to help
    Answer questions otherwise I'd be calling
    Dr constantly :)

    I've put the Valium under my tongue, too. It dissolves, just takes longer.
    Valium is also considered a vestibular suppressant.

    My hyperventilating led to panic attacks. You don't want to go there!

    I always keep a small paper bag in the bathroom with my other "episode" stuff.
    A pillow, a light blanket, a washcloth (for cold water on the back of my neck) and a dark cloth to cover my eyes.

    MAV can cause numbness in parts of the body, have you looked into MAV? Many of us have both MM and MAV

    Thank u Vicki I will look into that my son suffer weed since a
    Small child of migraine and vertigo his dr put him on singulair
    Which changed his life for the better its been years now thank
    God maybe that could be something I can try.
    Just rose I will def ask for a script for the adivan it's worth trying
    Hopefully doctor agrees my primary dr gave me the Valium
    Didn't ask otologist yet
