Hello everyone I was wondering today I had a dizzy attack with vommitting Right before the vomitting started for about 40 minutes my hands were completely numb With a vibrating sensation is this common I have mm for 3 months never experienced This or heard of it anybody ever had this?
Thank u tha makes sense I took a Valium As the symptoms got Strong maybe I should have taken it sooner Does Valium usually help vertigo? So happy There are people from this site to help Answer questions otherwise I'd be calling Dr constantly
I've put the Valium under my tongue, too. It dissolves, just takes longer. Valium is also considered a vestibular suppressant. My hyperventilating led to panic attacks. You don't want to go there! I always keep a small paper bag in the bathroom with my other "episode" stuff. A pillow, a light blanket, a washcloth (for cold water on the back of my neck) and a dark cloth to cover my eyes.
MAV can cause numbness in parts of the body, have you looked into MAV? Many of us have both MM and MAV
Thank u Vicki I will look into that my son suffer weed since a Small child of migraine and vertigo his dr put him on singulair Which changed his life for the better its been years now thank God maybe that could be something I can try. Just rose I will def ask for a script for the adivan it's worth trying Hopefully doctor agrees my primary dr gave me the Valium Didn't ask otologist yet
