I would like everyone's opinion/experiences with these holidays.

Do YOU give your children who are parents a card or gift for these holidays and why or why not.

I don't have any married children so can't give you any feed back from the Parent perspective , but being a married child my mom does give me and my wife cards.

Yes I do give my children cards and gifts on these days. I do so because I am so proud of them and all they have accomplished including being wonderful parents.

However, personally, I do not like these holidays. Not everyone loves their parents or have had ideal relationships with their parents. It is also hard on the people who want children and for some reason can not have them. I think it is often a very disappointing day for many people. I guess you could call me a hypocrite because I do celebrate it. I feel sad for the people who have to "get through the day".

  4. I got cards from my parents and brother and his wife.
