Summer heat always made me feel dizzy and off balance, not so much anymore since I am on acyclovir but it still has that affect on me now and then. I could never tolerate the heat well either, I feel sick in hot weather, heavy, tired, just feel awful during a hot especially humid day.

I notice my tolerance for heat has always been way below everyone else. I can't survive without a/c in the summer.

Anyone else feel this way? I wonder if its MM related for me or something else.

I am just opposite to you. During summer I used to be vertigo-free except once when I had a huge stress the day before an episode.
All the other episodes happened on humid/rainy/cold days in fall/spring.

    Rainy days throw me.

Extreme heat and humidity affect me.

thanks Bea and Serbian, I too never got vertigo in the summer I don't get vertigo anymore now thanks to the AV. But always felt crappy and woozy on hot days. Now its rare but still happens, the wooziness, when its real hot.

April was always my worst month I called it Vertigo month. I am pretty sure our MM symptoms are worse in spring and fall due to seasonal allergies. But since Im on the av and started the allergy formula, this spring even though pollen count is almost the highest it could be every day I have no need to raise my av dose like I had to last year when I was not on my allergists formula. I am thrilled about this.

I find that sudden temperature changes in general effect me. Walking out of house on a icy cold day effects me as much as stepping out of the nice air conditioned car into the blazing hot Texas heat.

Heat doesn't bother me (I could be used to it, living in Florida where high 90's are normal in the summer). Barometric changes did affect me more back when I was suffering with MM.

It's been over 90 the last few days here in Tallahassee. Yesterday, I had to get out the weed whacker and beat back the jungle. It was 4:30 and about 93. Sweat was pouring off my face and other body parts. But, as far as affecting MM symptoms, nothing.

I go to the gym twice a week and make sure I work up a sweat.

Personally, I like the high to be 89. Anything below 89 is ok with me. 90 and above with the high humidity, swimming through the air, is my least favorite weather. But, it does not affect MM.

I make sure I drink a lot of water.

No, I don't tolerate heat well. But I've never related it to the MM. I live in Alabama now, and when the natives here are looking forward to summer and heat, I find myself dreading it. I like the winters here, just the opposite of everyone else.

I cannot tolerate heat too well.Prior to living in the Bay area I and my wife lived in Orange County near the Santa Ana Freeway. We fortunately had a pool which was a delight especially after spending a hour on the freeway trying to get home from work.I used to hike and if one is not well hydrated it very easy to get heat exhaustion and pass out.I'm presently living in the Bay area and while most days here are very comfortable we still get some very hot uncomfortable days.My friend Ingrid lives in Los Altos,19 miles from San Jose.It gets very hot where she is and get this, she doesn't have A/C in her entire house.

I definitely get uncomfortable when its hot but it has never triggered my symptoms. Thank god too, because here in South Florida the summers are crazy hot and humid. It's the cold that gets me sometimes.
