How much should I be taking per day? I am on valcyclovir and several of the JOH supplements, along with a probiotic and Lauricidin.

    Thanks!

5000 IU of D-3 per day. Anything less can seldom get your serum vitamin D level above 50 ng/ml, which is the best healthful level.

Taking vitamin K2 along with the D-3 is very helpful, as it complements D-3's function. And it keeps calcium from being deposited in arteries (prevents arteriosclerosis). K2 is a crucial D-3 co-factor.

On a side note - vitamin d3, at doses of 6000 iu, was the only thing that stopped my cluster headaches that occurred like clockwork every day at 2pm.

Jade many of us who have MM also have IBS, its not uncommon, I do as well. I take 2000 IU Of Vit D3 a day and I am fine, But I also take a probiotic everyday which cut down on my IBS symptoms, not always but any times.
