My dh ordered what he thought was Vertigoheel for me. It is called WellMind Alertness Aid Tablets and seems to have the same ingredients as vertigoheel: Ambra grisea 6x, Cocculus indicus 4x, Conium maculatum 3x, Petroleum 8x. Does this sound like the same thing?

    Thanks for any info!

Ingredients appear to be same or very similar. Don't know about the dilutions, however.

Let us know how this product works for you. Would be nice to have a Vertigoheel equivalent back again.

Check the label on that product, see if it says "Heel" anywhere. Heel is the German company that made and distributed Vertigoheel in the US.

Have they, perhaps, resumed sales here in the US, under a different product name not label-targeted at vertigo?

Thanks, John & Cheryl. Yes, the box does say Heel and uses the weblink www.HeelUSA.com. It says the product "Restores Alertness and Mental Clarity". I read up on one ingredient that is a CNS stimulator--isn't that what caffeine does? That's what gave me a pause about the product. I never took Vertigoheel, so didn't have an old box to compare.

I know you took this with your regimen, but wonder if its ok to mix with pycnogenol (100 mg/tid), betahistine, etc. I'll let you know--starting it this am.

How did it go, Hampgal? I see Cocculus available here in Calgary, Canada but I don’t know much about it.
