Traveling ?

    I am traveling to VA from Ohio this weekend and there is a huge air pressure change from here to there. Any advice for me ??

    Hey, Karen. Physical motions of the jaw, such as swallowing, yawning, & chewing activate & help relax the muscles associated with eustachian tube function. The stimulation & of these muscles will subsequently encourage equalization.

    The Valsalva Manoeuvre is often recommended, too. Though be sure to go about this manoeuvre gently.

    Other than the above, all that’s remains is the employment of a full body pressure suit. Such as the extravehicular mobility unit, which would be AWSOME to see someone wear while cruising the highway.
